Hello,
I, too, need to request birth/marriage certificates from Palo del Colle. What do you recommend the quickest way to do this would be? I was thinking of sending a request by email, but the commune's web site seems to be down indefinitely, so I don't have an address. I guess I could try faxing... JCSM, you mentioned you may have more info?

I would write a letter to the comune at the address Joyce posted above.

Here's a link to an interacitve letter which you can use to request records. Make sure to include a copy of some type of ID like your driver's license, a self-addressed envelope and one or two International Reply Coupons depending on how many documents you're requesting. Some people have received documents without including an IRC but personally I'd include one. I prefer a 9 x 12 outer envelope and a 6 x 9 self-addressed return envelope.

I've also looked for an official town site and have been unable to find one which I find incredible for a city of about 20,000 inhabitants. I did stumble across this site on the town however.
