1940 & 1950 Census

Post by Nello-LosAngeles » 04 Feb 2007, 06:51

Can you help me find a copy of the questions or the FORM for the '40 and '50 US Census.

Do you know anything about using Freedom Of Information ACT to request information about a relative for these Census?

Biff,
Thanks for this! I was at a loss to find this info.

Do you know if "certified copies" of the data is available for 1930, and where.

I am applying for dual citizenship and my grandfather never naturalized. The '20 and '30 census show that fact.

You have done a beautiful tribute to your father. A great web site.

The Census link above states the bureau will provide an "official census transcript" for years 1910-2000 for a fee of $65 for each year you require. I do not know if this would be sufficent for your needs and suggest you check before spending that kind of money.

Thanks for your kind words about the memorial site my brother and I have established to honor our father and the other members of the 83d Infantry Division in WWII.
