Rubino or Cuda

Post by Ricky1016 » 16 Feb 2007, 22:49

Hi, I am new to anyone researching either the Rubino's or the Cuda's? My gg-grandfather was Pasquale Rubino. He was born in Naples, Italy, I believe and married Geatana Tramuto. He came to the U.S. in the late 1800's, and Gaetana came a few years later.

Also, on the other side of the family, my gg-grandfather's name was Antonio Cuda. He immigrated to the U.S. from Martirano, Calabria, Italy. He married a Rose Coltellaro. They resided in Pittsburgh for sometime, then finally immigrated back to Italy.

If anyone has any kind of information on them, or if your just researching those surnames, please let me know.

If you have collected all US documentation, you can begin researching Italian records....
you can check for records by using the following site: ... t_fhlc.asp

use a place search, enter your town of interest, and this will bring up any available records for that place.

Guideline for using microfilm: ... =2581.html

If you are in need of a genealogical word list: ... Italia.ASP

and one for Latin: ... LLatin.ASP
