Seeking information on great-grandmother and her mother and father.

Mary Kathrine Lertora - born April 23, 1867 in Weaverville, CA.
Any help or suggestions would be appreciated

Anton, Antone, Antonio Lertora (abt 1830 - 1873)
There is conflicting information concerning Antoneís country of origin,
one piece of information says France (daughters death certificate) while
most of the references to the Lertora name indicate Italy possibly near
Genoa. His obituary from the September 3, 1873 Sacramento Bee news
paper says a native of Italy. He fell from the porch of a boarding house and broke his neck. He was recorded as a laborer, who may have worked on the Sacramento Capital building and had
done some gold mining in the Trinity Area.

Katherine Covaro (abt 1840 -1867)
Listed as a native of California, I believe she died in child birth of
twins of which my great grandmother may have been one of. She was
supposed to have been christened in Delores Church in San Francisco and
buried there also, yet her daughter, my ggrandmother was born in
Weaverville April 23, 1867. Her name was Mary Kathrine Lertora. I can
not find any record of her in any files. There may have been four
siblings in this family but I have no definitive evidence one way or

Anyone with suggestions and/or information, please respond. Thank you
for your time and consideration. Ken
