I found all these family trees Im going through at three different sites. They are all from the same town with the same name. I need to calm down...my heart is racing.

Chris, you have a lot of free resources to check again
now that you have a surname. Just checked rootsweb
and found a Josephine Figliuolo, but married to a
Giordano. The great thing about ancestors - they aren't
going anywhere, their records are waiting for you to
find them  .

Thanks Val, but I dont have a surname now. See, I made the jump from a 1920 census that I know is my great grandmother, to the 1910 census that was not her. All the information was working out until we found her married to someone other than my great grandfather Joseph Bianchi of New Haven, CT. They had 4 kids "John, Josephine, Tidera, Peter" I'm sorry it didnt pan out, but all your research was not in vain since we eliminated that particular "Josephine" from our choices. I just have to start again. Thanks 8O

I can see how they would have easily recorded Figliuolo as Feylioh. Great work Valerie.

Interesting....

Jim, I e-mailed you the 1920 and 1930 census records for Josephine Bianchi, married to Joseph I Bianchi in New Haven, CT. 4 Children listed as Tidera, Peter, John, Josephine. Too large for me to upload it says.

I have uploaded these records to my domain for you so that everyone can view them:

Joseph Bianchi & Josephine (New Haven, CT.)

1920 Census Line 61

1930 Census Line 70

Let's see if we cant help Uther discover something on Josephine and her Italian-Jewish origins.

Thanks!

If this is Joseph & Josephine's son John,
chances are they were married before the
1910 census.
Chris, have you tried ordering any of their children's
CT birth records - they may have their mother's
maiden name on them.

Notice in the 1920 census Joseph owned and/or managed a Bowling Alley, this must be the "9" year old John in the 1920 census for Joseph & Josephine. The 1920 Census was taken in January, so that works well actually.
