achille
Re: achille
Ah-keel-lay is how you would say it in Italian. In America, you would say Ah-kill-ee. If you have heard of achille's heel or the achille tendon, it would be said the same way.
Re: achille
hello poipuo4, thankyou for that, a spelling of a christian name i have seems wrong, it is argyle or argyll and i am trying to find the name that is similar in italian, thankyou, regards john
Re: achille
Some of the native Italians will be able to help you more on this one, but I can tell you that "y" does not exist in the Italian alphabet, so the "y" is probably some other vowel, perhaps an "e" or an "i".
Re: achille
