died 2 Jan 1964 in Syracuse,NY.

and his brother

Gaetano Palmieri
born 24 Oct 1892
died Apr 1966 in Pittsburgh, Allegheny, PA

I am looking for any information I can find I know nothing of their ancestry.

This is the arrival manifest for Gaetano..... the last name was mispelled in Paleneri...
Note the name of his father: Santo from San Cataldo - Palermo (mmmh I think the actually Province of San Cataldo is Caltanissetta... don't sure!!)
He was going to his brother Palmeri Salvatore

Ops!!!! I'm sorry but the first records I found about Gaetano are wrong... ... I was certain because of the birth date but just now found this manifest arrival for a Gaetano Palmieri from Caivano (Napoli) age 16, date arrival March 31, 1909.... he was going to his brother Domenico in Syracuse , 319 Franchlin street (father of these two mas was Francesco living in Caivano)

I apoligize about this, the strange thing was the exact correspondence with the birth date of the other Gaetano....

this is very interesting :
as I saw that in the arrival manifest of Gaetano Palmieri he was travelling with two brothers named Fabozzi Pasquale and Francesco, searching these two names I meet another manifest for Pasquale travelling with PALMIERO GIOVANNI both from Caivano (Napoli)....
Giovanni Palmiero declared to going to meet his brother Gaetano in 110 Howard Street, Syracuse as Pasquale was going to his cousin Gaetano Palmieri in Syracuse.... Giovanni's father was Francesco....
We found another Palmieri brother!!
and we know that in 1913 Gaetano was probably living with his brother Domenico because the address of Domenico in 1920 Census is 112 Howard street....

Ciao,

now you can be pretty sure that the town of origin of your ancestors was CAIVANO in the province on Napoli , Campania region...

Gaetano and Domenico had another brother in USA named Giovanni and their father was Francesco Palmieri...
