I think the town name is one of these two

Frattamaggiore or Frattaminore.

Frattaminore is correct.

Clue to possible maiden name (D'Ambrosio), although the
b-i-l may not be Giuseppa’s brother but the husband of
Francesco’s sister?

Appears to be a brother-in-law and brother of Francesco
going to Slate Run PA the year following Francesco’s
manifest. Note Box 28 is same address as 1904 manifest.

Lines 24-26 traveling together
1905 manifest

Line 25
Mariano D’Ambrosio 40
- married
- stone mason
- last residence Caivano Napoli
- destination Slate Run PA
- not in US before
- passage paid by brother-in-law
- joining brother-in-law Francesco Marigliano

Line 26
Deported
Antonio Marigliano 44
- married
- farm laborer
- last residence Caivano Napoli
- destination Slate Run PA
- not in US before
- passage paid by brother
- joining brother Francesco
---

D'Ambrosio
Following the possible lead (above)

Mariano D’Ambrosio
Earlier manifest?
Same age, married, stone cutter
Joining a different brother-in-law (Andrea Conte?) in Phila
possible 1904 manifest
Line 28
- in Phila 1897-1900
- last residence Giffoni V. (Giffoni Valle Piana, Salerno, Campania?)
---

at 1949 Rowan Street, Phila

interesting 1930 census

Hello to all

Never expected this much information. I did not have citizenship paperwork before, thank you vj. Nor a manifest for Francis.

There is a family story that my grandfather, Guiseppe, came here to an uncle in the Bethlehem area of PA. (this is a 177 miles from Slate Run) Could be it was meant that Francis came. Also, we heard that the family ran a vineyard in Italy.

Thank you for the address to send for marriage license. It does not appear that Grandmother every came here.

No one knows for sure about siblings of either grandfather. We do know that Guiseppe, Joseph by now, was sending packages back to Caivano for years.
