Looking for Tortorelli and Tafuni in Altamura Italy

Hi Everyone. I was able to trace my grandfather, Donato Tortorelli, born in 1901 in Altamura. His parents were Graziantonio Tortorelli and Antonia Tafuni. Donato had a brother and two sisters, but I do not know their names. I am looking for cousins or people that might be able to help me with my geneology in Italy. Take care, Dan.

You can search for Donato's family throught the LDS microfilms. First find a Family History Center (FHC) nearest you. Here is the link.

Next go to the center and order your films. Here is the list of films for Altamura. Make sure to write down the film numbers you'd like to view. Here is the link

The films provide origianl birth acts (nati), death acts (morti), marriages (matrimoni) etc. from 1809 thru 1900.

Edit to add comment........it takes 2 to 4 weeks for the films to arrive and the cost per film is about $5.50.
