Hi and Welcome to the Forum!
We'd be happy to see what we can do, but
we need just a bit more information.
Did Joachim (Johan) (Giacomo) Romalla or his
father emigrate from Italy?
(or did any family members?)
If they did, we may be able to find clues to where
he was born.
I know he was born in Italy about 1844.
Also, what record(s) do you already have?
Thanks!

A free database from ancestry.com

England & Wales, Free BMD Birth Index: 1837-1983
Name: Florence Remilla
Year of Registration: 1884
Quarter of Registration: Apr-May-Jun
District: Lambeth
County: Greater London, London, Surrey
Volume: 1d
Page: 459

Since the original birth, marriage and death registers are not open to the public,
getting access to the information on one of these certificates is done by first searching
the national birth, marriage and death indexes, that have been created by the GRO for
this purpose.
The indexes for the three events are each divided into quarterly volumes, with the
names for each quarter listed alphabetically.

Once an entry in one of the indexes is found, you are then able to use that information
to order of copy of a death, marriage or birth certificate from the GRO/ONS

---

Note: if this is the correct family, perhaps one of the
children's birth certificates may have their father's place
of birth.

Note: the marriage and death indexes are also free searches
on ancestry.com
