ROLLIER surname

Post by doublej » 06 Jul 2003, 05:55

I am trying to find more information about a distant relative on my mother's side - a Michel Hippolyte Rollier who was born in Torre Pellice, Torino, in 1841. Her father was Gustav Hippolyte A. Rollier and her mother was Nancy Bert.

Any information on the family would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks

John James

Bert is typically a waldensian name. You should look for sites about waldensian genealogy. There were a lot of waldensian in the torre pellice area

I know this is very late but thanks to your help I have now made contact with relatives in Torre Pellice and can trace the family back to the 17th century.

Thank you

John
