My grandfather military papers shows that he got a passport before WW1 to work overseas from Italy.
Could you please translate this.

Aprile (1)907 America [I tried to read Armenia, but it does not fit]
Febbraio (1)914 Austria
Giugnio 1914 Austria

Thank you for that information.
He was called up for service and dismissed from the service because he was overseas on the 19 July 1911, so in February 1911 he was in Austria and went back in June 1914.
I cannot find any records of him going to America in 1907
His name is Matteo Spagnolo DOB 1884 Rotzo Vicenza
