Hi all,

What is the translation into Italian of great-great-great-grandfather and great-great-great-grandmother?

Have not come across a "single" word for it. You might want to say the great grandfather of my great grandfather (bisnonno di mio bisnonno)

What do you think?

One of the possible solutions:
nonno - g.father
bisnonno - gg.father
trisavo (or trisavolo) - ggg.father
quartavo (quartavolo) - gggg.father

The right word is ARCAVOLO, but it's not commonly used.
