Retagliata Antonio - Rovegno - Baptism Translation request

Post by fairhilleng » 31 Mar 2011, 15:05

I would appreciate translation assistance for the baptism record of Antonius Retagliata - link to image:

1. Date? I think it is 1826 March, day ? Is this the baptism day? Is the date of birth noted?
2. Father: Carlo son of Jo Bap (Giovanni Battista?) son of Antonius (Antonio). Is this 4 generations including the child? Why are several generations given sometimes? Are they noted as living or not?
3. Mother: Julia Connio daughter of Antonio Mari? living or not?
4. What else does the document note?

Thank you for your assistance :)

Thank you so much for the clips and translation equivalents. This should be very helpful in future translations.
