Birth Record

Post by tomtst »

I am trying to determine if this record is the birth record of my great uncle Mike Bonetti. I am not sure what the name says. My uncle was born to Antonio Bonetti and Filomena Corrado on Dec 23 1893. The birth date appears to be the same but the name is different. Also is the writing on the last picture his marrage record? The document was on two pages I think the last picture goes with my document.

I think this is your uncle, date and parents' names match. The name is "Maico" (not a common Italian name) and is pronounced very similar to "Michael". I'd say it sounds like the Italian misspelling of "Michael": had his parents been to USA before?
The writing after the record is not a marriage annotation; it is the final closing annotation of the register, as Maico's was the last record in it.
