Giuseppe Matafu - Death Record (Librizzi)

Post by ItalianbellaSA »

Hi to Everyone in this forum on this beautiful June evening!

I have found a death record for a Giuseppe Matafu, who I think is the son of a direct ancestor (5 generations back).

http://www.antenati.san.beniculturali.i ... ewsIndex=0

Death of Guiseppe Matafu (born in Montagnareale): May 14, 1842
Son of the late Antonino Matafu and Marianna Caruso

Does this record give the age Giuseppe? I am thinking it might be 22 years old.
also, are the ages of the parents given?
Thanks in advance for your help.

It is hoped that the research I am doing helps to discover, preserve and celebrate my family history.

No ages given for Giuseppe's parents but he was age 30. Also the word ammogliato appears after his age which means "married" but there is no wife's name given.
