I'm trying to uncover the comunes of my GGF and GGM. I found the birth record for their older child, Rosa Papa born in San Fele in 1866. I believe the record contains additional information that can be useful to my search. ROSA PAPA begins on the bottom of page 86, and continues to the top of page 87. Dated 25 October 1866 at 4 PM at the town office in San Fele
Appearing before the official was Vincenzo Papa, son of Sebastiano, age 22, peasant farmer residing in San Fele, to present a female child he declared was born on 24th of the current month of October at 4 PM to his legitimate wife, Angela Maria Zinardi, daughter of Celestino, at home at Strada Castello. The child was given the name ROSA.
Witnesses to the recording of the birth: Giambattista Zupa, son of deceased Francesco, age 66, shoemaker; and Nicola Daizzio(sp?), son of deceased Pietro, age 46, peasant farmer.
