This a certificate of birth from the town of Torretta, Province of Palermo. Calogero Gambino was born in this town of Torretta on June 30, 1880. This is from the birth act inscribed in the registers of the civil state of this town-record 54.

The request is relinquished on free paper* for use for ?(I don't know what the abbreviation means)

*this means that it is issued on plain paper-paper which does not have a stamp on it.
