Birth record side of the document is dated Oct 8, 1859. The handwriting is difficult to decipher, but I think he was born ieri (yesterday) on the 7th. He was baptized on the 8th, although the baptism side of the document is dated Nov 1st.

He was the son of Michele Sarnese, age 40, a peasant/farmer in Riccia and Maria Sassani, age 37.
