Appearing were Carlo Sasso, age 66, peasant/farmer and Luigi Genna, age 46, also a peasant/ farmer. Both reported that at 5:25 a.m. today, in the house at #1 Contrada San Martino, Giuseppe Cipriano, age 59, a property owner in the town, died. He was the son of Michele Cipriano and deceased Maria Saveria Ciampi, both property owners. He was the husband of Santa Pascucci. Witnesses were Angelantonio Calo', age 61, a property owner, and Domenico Abbandandolo, age 33, peasant/farmer. The document was read aloud to all who had intervened but only signed by the town official, as all the others were illiterate.
