Villa or Villari? What is your expert opinion?

Post by scraig32 » 22 Jul 2014, 19:43

Hello again. I have set these documents aside for a while and have just now picked them up again. The question I have is do you think my family surname is Villa or Villari? I have included pertinent documents below that have each surname. I am sure that they are all the same family because of the parents' names. Would you mind taking a look and giving your personal opinion. Which would you record in your family tree- Villa or Villari? All of the documents that I have found for Giovanni and Giovannina in the United States contain the name or some variation of the name Villari. It eventually became Willard! Crazy! But I am now inclined to think that the actual name was originally Villa. Thanks in advance for your time and thoughts. Suzanne

Sorry, but I don't have a subscription to ancestry.com and can't view any of these.
