Dated Sept 19, 1877 at 10:35 a.m. in Frigento
Appearing was Francesco Saverio Stanco, age 30, peasant in the town. He reported that at 10:15 P.M. on the 18th of the current month, in the house at #12 vico Secondo San Giovanni, a female infant, whom he was presenting, was born to his wife, Maria Giuseppa Calo', a peasant living with him. The infant was being given the name Carmela. Witnesses were Raffaele Pipino, age 38, tailor, and Angelo Filippone, age 60, property owner. Both were residents in Frigento. The declarant did not sign the document, as he was illiterate.
