help with marriage act

Post by dmt1955 » 27 Feb 2016, 21:43

http://s28.postimg.org/aon38p1f1/1814_A ... rriage.jpg

i am trying to decipher what the words are after "widow of Felice Panza"....very bottom of page, 3rd line from bottom : vidova di Felice Panza, morto tre anni ?? in Santa Paolina ....

i rather looks like dicotto - but "dead 3 years 18" would not make sense.

many thanks,
Donna

La stessa è vidua di Felice Panza morto tre anni dietro in Santa Paolina(?), come osta dall'atto di notorietà redatto dal Goiudice di Pace di quel circondario ed a noi esibito

The same is the widow of Felice Panza who died three years ago in Santa Paolina (?), as it appears in the act of notoriety drawn up by the Judge of Peace of the district and that was shown to us.

thanks very much, livio, for writing out and translating the whole sentence. i assumed that '3 years ago' was the meaning but could not figure out 'dietro.'
