Help translating marriage document - Giovanni Gimigliano

Post by pmhgen »

Can someone please help in translating the attached? This partial document was near the end of my great grandfather's marriage record of 1907 and I am unable to read most of the handwriting. As info, there are four signatures underneath the image presented. Thank you.

At the above marriage the parents of the bride were present to give their consent as shown in the act of request to publish the banns.
I [the official] read the present act to the participants and they signed below (I do not know which ones signed without seeing the signatures.)

Thank you Tessa! I had spent several hours working through this translation and wasn't getting anywhere and you solved it very quickly.

It is somewhat standard language in these records.
You might consider getting a copy of Trafford Cole's book: Italian Genealogical Records... a valuable resource.
