Re: Cipriano, Arcangela/Famiglietti, Pasquale MARRIAGE
The left side of the record is the solemn promise to marry dated June 3, 1825 at 12. The right side is the actual marriage in the parish of Santa Maria Maggiore dell’Assunta in Cielo-same date.
The left side-
The groom: Michele Famiglietti, age 20, born in Frigento, a peasant living on Strada San Pietro. He was the son of Giuseppe (Famiglietti), a peasant who was living with his son, and Angela Famiglietti, who was living with both of them.
The bride was Arcangela Cipriano, age 19, who too had been born in Frigento and was living on Strada Taverna Vecchia. She was the daughter of Giuseppe (Cipriano), a peasant, who was living with his son, and of Rosaria Cipriano, who was living with both of them. They also were living on the same street as the groom and his parents.
The 4 parents all gave their free consent to the marriage.
Notification of the solemn promise to marry had been posted on the door of the town hall on Sunday, May 15th. Remember, its purpose was to insure there was no opposition to the upcoming marriage
The right column-called the indication-indicates that the marriage took place in the parish of Santa Maria Maggiore dell’Assunta in Cielo, on June 3, 1825, in the town of Frigento.

Erudita, is the groom's first name Michele or Pasquale? I think I may have a mess on my hands....

Actually the groom is Angelo Michele Famiglietti, not to be confused with the first church witness who was Angelo Michele de Luca. I somehow omitted the Angelo as the first part of the groom's name, when I typed the translation. It's definitely not Pasquale. The Angelo is at the right end of line six of the Solemn Promise on the left side of the document, after the printed word Communale, and the Michele is on the 7th line all the way to the left I should have realized you had Pasquale in your subject line. Sorry I missed that and didn't question you about it.
