1821 Marriage, Gambatesa

Post by JOHN08 »

As I read this marriage record (numero 4): Pasquale Genovese and Anna Felice Leonardi were married at the town hall of Gambatesa by the mayor on the 15th of April 1821; they were married on the 18th of June 1821 at the parish church in Gambatesa. Am I right?

Thanks for your help.

John

John
The couple was not married at the town hall. The left side of the document is the couple's solemn promise to marry. It is not a civil marriage. They only married in the church on the 18th of June.
