am i understanding this accurately.....

that this act #473 corrects the birth date of Caterina Zullo to 28 Jun 1874 and that on 14 Oct 1899 she married Liberatore Masuccio (act #83).

This does NOT correct Caterina's birth date; it STATES her birth date as Jun 28, 1874.
It is likely that, when she was preparing documents for marriage, it was found out that her birth had never been declared (it was not uncommon in that times). So, she had to turn to a Court to be declared "born"
You might find a record about a sentence in birth register part II of 1899, or in Allegati (if present).
