Hi everyone! I am researching the family of my aunt in Monteforte Irpino in Avellino. I found my aunt's grandfather's birth record. I believe there is a note about him marrying in 1879. Can someone please help with the translation. Here is what I have been able to translate from the record so far:
Birth of Modestino Carullo - Sept. 19, 1847
Father: Raffaele Carullo, age 27, Strada Tuoro (?)
Mother: Teresa Forino (?), age 25
The note about Modestino's marriage:
1879 to Angela Lombordi (?) - I don't see a month and day for the marriage or if it took place in Monteforte Irpino. I looked in the marriage records for the 1879 and did not see their name listed in the index. Could they have married in a different town?
Thank you for any assistance.

It is hoped that the research I am doing helps to discover, preserve and celebrate my family history.

You should post the link to the record...

I also can't find the marriage to Angela Lombardi (correct spelling)-the 11th Oct? 1879 in Monteforte. Sorry but I don't have time to look through the other indices now.
Yes to Strada Tuoro and to Teresa Forino
