1626 Monreale church marriage

Post by cj11788 » 10 Nov 2019, 18:09

Hello,

Attached is the 1626 and 1640 church marriages for Gaspano and Simone Soriano. I'm interested in the place where they are from. They both mention Monreale but what's after that?

Thanks,

Chris

The second record says "di Castronovo, hab(itan)ti di Monreale" (referred to parents, I think), i.e. from (born in) Castronovo, but living in Monreale.
