18th century parish death act in Latin from Trentino-Alto Adige

Post by rfiorille »

I would appreciate help translating and deciphering the attached death act from Segno, Trento, Trentino-Atlo Adige of Jacobus Antonius Covi son of Petrus Covi (spelled Cov in the document) died 4 Feb 1767. I'm able to decipher the following but would like help with the rest:

Die 4 Feb: 1767
Jacobus Ant.s _________ Petri Cov de Signi __________ et sepultus est in caemet.o ________.

The death act is the 3rd entry on the page.

Thank you,
Robert

Fantastic! Thank you Mmogno. The most important part of this for me was "filius paucorum dierum." It's exactly what I was looking for. As always, your help is greatly appreciated!

I have another document for another person Joannes Antonius Covi died 5 November 1759. He is the first entry on the document. I am trying to get his age but can't make it out. I would appreciate getting his age and any other vital information as well please.

Thank you,
Robert

Thank you Mmogno. I'm a big believer in asking for help :)

I will follow your post. And I will add additional documents here from Segno when I need more deciphering.

Is anyone able to access this link? I've tried multiple times over the past 24 hours and only see the header of the site, the rest of the page is blank. It seems to be a problem accross the whole site. I've deleted cookies and tried different browsers and computers and still the site comes up blank. I've had success in the past accessing the website, but not now. I would appreciate if anyone would let me know if they are having the same issue. Thanks!

Thank you for confirming Mmogno. Hopefully they can get things fixed.

Also, thank you for your response to my post there and for letting me know the parents of the groom were not listed. As always, very much appreciated!

The administrator of the site had communicated on the corresponding facebook group, that the site would be out of order for maintenance on Thu 20. Maybe they are not finished yet.
