Italian birth record translation please

Post by nrepole »

Hi all
Just cannot read/translate the bottom section of my relative's birth record from 1883.
My Italian is not great but I can see that it mentions the father Angelo Maria Patrissi,
who was not present at the birth and that the baby was fortunate to survive the ordeal??
Is this right?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The declarant said she was present at the birth, and that the baby was in danger of death (that's why he was not shown to the clerk).
