Hello my fellow genealogist stuck at home
The below link is for the 1595 death of Federico Palazzolo. Normally I can pick out the important information but on this one I'm stuck.
I can't read any thing past his name besides his age. After his name it almost looks like "alias" and the town is also unfamiliar. I also don't see anything resembling parents.
Any suggestions?
Chris

Federico Palazzolo Monreale marriage
Re: Federico Palazzolo Monreale marriage
on the second line before his age, I see Calascibetta, a town in Enna Province, Sicily. It appears that he was living in the house of Giacomo(?) di Noto in the quartiere della Carrubella (a district or neighborhood in Monreale) because of being infermed with a fever. He also received the sacraments of Confession/Penance, the Eucharist/Holy Communion, and Extreme Unction (the Last Rites).

Thanks Erudita,
Do you think right after his name is alias? I see that there.

's of unknown parents
I don't see the word alias but see which word you are referring to. In reading over the first line though, I do believe it is saying that he is the son of a father and mother not known, but not in the sense that he's of unknown parents. What I believe the record is saying is that, because he is from this other town, and due to his advanced age, his parents' identifies (names) are not known in the town of Monreale or in this parish.
The word you are referring to follows the letter f which is the abbreviation for the word for "son." Anyway I hope someone else will look over the record and decipher that word for you. I am stumped by it at the moment. Sorry.

Re: Federico Palazzolo Monreale marriage
I agree with Erudita, but I can't read that word, either.

Hi Chris
Glad Pippo got a chance to look over the record too and we concur. One more thing, after the word for fever is the word catarro. I believe that means phlegm or mucous in your nose or throat.
