Help translating marriage documents

Post by jrc08004 »

Hi,

Can someone decipher the image below? It's a paragraph dictating what documents were presented for a marriage between Domenico De Nard and Teresa Tormen. The link to the original is here on Ancestry: https://www.ancestry.com/interactive/18 ... 8855-00010

Here is what I read...

Documents {
~The birth acts of the spouses from the Parish of Sedico
~The death act of Domenico De Nard, brother of the groom, who was the husband of Teresa Tormin, and died on 18 August 1873.
~An authentic copy of the Decreto Reale (Royal/Official Decree?) dated 25 July of the current year.

Thanks Tessa! That answers some questions, because I've definitely come across some of the children from this marriage that had the same mother but different fathers, and I was really confused.

Teresa is listed as "vedova" [widow] in the record.

Here is the death act of Domenico de Nard, husband of Teresa Tormin, in 1873. (#65)

Happy to help!
