Hello can someone help me out, I am doing a fine job reading and translationg this birth certificate but I cannot figure out the profession for the father Michele.

In Sicily there was an occupation called "zagarellaio", meaning a maker of string, ribbons, laces, and the like. Maybe Naples had the same word.

I believe it's metonymic, at least in Sicily.
