lista di leva translation

Post by nrepole »

Hi everyone
Just hoping to get a translation of a relative's military record.
I know he spent time in a bersaglieri regiment in 1915 however does not seem to be
mentioned here. I am still trying to get his full record but this is all I have at the moment.

Kind regards
Nick

He was put off to the supplementary (conscription visit?) of Oct 13th, 1904 because he was in jail in Melfi, as it turns out from the certificate of Jun 23rd.

Oct 16th, 1904 he was declared "renitente" (reluctant?). I suppose he did not show up at the visit.
He was enrolled as a First Category as a reluctant of class 1904. He showed up spontaneously. He was referred to judicial authority for criminal proceedings.

I guess he did then. Unless the note was written later.
Also, I wrote "class 1904"; it was "class 1884", as I read now. Was that his year of birth?
