Thank you. So even though I found this document under the "Matrimoni" section for Pago and there were also "Matrimoni, processetti" and "Matrimoni, pubblicazioni" sections, this was not the actual marriage record, but a promise to marry record? I gather there was nothing useful in Points 1, 2, 3, and 4 on the bottom of the document, nor point 5 on the next page.

Also, I could not find the death record for the bride's father. I thought it should have appeared here:

1. If I read it correctly, the promise date and the actual church marriage date are the same - February 23, 1843. Correct?

2. I am unable to pull up the image for the death record of the bride's father.

Yes, 23 February, 1843 is both the promise date and the marriage date (mmogno mentioned this earlier).

Hopefully the following link will take you to the death record of the bride's father:

If the image doesn't show, then click on "Immagine 27" (the smallest type)

Following on from my previous post....

The next image is the death record of the paternal grandfather of the bride, that is Giambattista Casalbore, which will take you back another generation. The only issue I have is that it lists his wife as Catterina Ianni, but he may have remarried after Marianna Petrone died. It lists his parents as the deceased Ciriaco Casalbore (which makes sense) and Infrasine? Rossi.

I think Rossi's first name is Enfrasina.

Hi Erudita

Now that I have blown it up I can see that the name definitely starts with an E. I think the second letter is actually a "u" and not an "n" and the last letter is definitely an e, so I'm suggesting Eufrasine, which doesn't seem to exist but Eufrasina does. Do you know what the word "grembo" means in the context of this church record? I've not seen it in a church record before.

Ron: Giambattista was 64 yo when he died on 15 July 1803.
