have you tried looking for him in the ellis island website? There are three odd spelling of luigi (italian for louis) in the valentin entries and all from fiume or tuenno. Peter

100 YEARS OF THE FOLLOWING;
VISNA, MARENO DI PIAVE, RAI di SAN POLO AND SOME 1700 CENTURY ON ORMELLE.

I am searching for decendants of Geremia Vendrame that went to Corrienties, Argentina. Are there Vendrame's in your area?
