Manifest lists place of birth as "Carbonara" and Nationality as Italy-South. The original poster has other documents which reference Caserta.

The best I could come up with is Comune di Carbonara di Nola in Provincia di Napoli; about 30 miles from Comune di Caserta.

Does anyone have a better suggestion?

No your not overkill its just that people are either lazy or require direction but the research work aside from easy stuff should be the inquirers responsibility. If they cannot follow directions here from us quickwitted luminaries then they should at least make an effort don't you think?

I mean look at this carbonara situation which is a waste of time. Tell them to check with either Carbonara in the Caserta province and drop it. =Peter=
