Welcome to the Forum!
If this is your family's 1891 census, you're right it's difficult to make out the location (and the correction) in Italy.
There may be a neighbor from the same comune several lines down
Valarie

possible 1891 census

My best guess:
the comune of Conca Casale, province of Isernia, Molise region
- abt 50 km from Atina, his wife's birthplace on the census
(Atina, province of Frosinone, Lazio region)

Looking at his wife's place of birth - Atina -
Atina, comune of Atina - province: Frosinone - region: Lazio
Atina Inferiore, comune of Atina - province: Frosinone - region: Lazio

a good guess (since there are over 21 Casali listings in the frazioni, and even more Casale!) - might be this one.

Casali, comune of Giuliano di Roma - province: Frosinone - region: Lazio

(Hi Valarie :-D )

Hi T :D
I was typing while you were posting
Thanks for your expertise - this is a tough one
I didn't try the surnames Prete or Porcelli in either locations (from the 1891 census)
I did look at manifests with towns beginning with 'C' with no conclusive results

Hi Valarie :-D

I like your Guess better than mine! :-)
I didn't think to look at Molise region...
Giuliano di Roma (Frosinone) is farther, about 81 km from Atina...

Checking the Italian Phone book...
There are 7 Prete in Conca Casale today.
for the other Casali, Giuliano di Roma, the names are Del Prete or Di Prete.

If you want to write to the comunes (using our guesses) for birth records, these may help
If they married in Italy, Atina should have that record

I can't believe the speed of reply from so many intelligent people. Cheers. The Atina one suits as it fits with other pieces I have. They did not marry in Italy but against her family wishes, ran away and were married in London in 1891. They stayed in Holborn next to others of her name ( Manicini ).
Victor worked as an ice cream vendor before moving to Scotland where he had a couple of failed ice cream shops ( poor gambling took care of them. ) He ended up working as a labourer. I have a relation who has some information but refuses to share it . So thanks again.
( I have no idea if he had any brothers of sisters although I know his parents names.)
If Rosalie Mancini is from Atina then I can trace her back to the 1700's
