Hi everyone!
I love the FHC microfilms! You can get some really cool information and go pretty far back, it's a lot of fun. So anyway, I found an ancestor of mine who came from Caltagirone in the early 19th century. I was wondering if anyone knew of any websites or books that have a lot of information on Caltagirone? It's history, people, famous ceramics, occupations, the earthquake, literally anything beyond a wikipedia level summation. I would love to know more about the place.
