I am researching names in parish in Forno Canavese (Torino). I have also seen civil records from that general area, and some of them say di Rivara. I am curious when Canavese became a commune on its own. Some people clearly were born in Forno Canavese, but show up in the civil records of di Rivara. Also, what is the correct way to document events from these two places.
I have seen a reference that stated that after 1927 Forno di Rivara is known as Forno Canavese. Does someone know the history of this.
Thanks
Paul
