Doing research in Villa Latina, Italy?

Post by Sasso2013 » 30 May 2013, 18:42

So I have a cousin who is going to Villa Latina this summer. Any advice on what kind of research he can do while there? More specifically where should he look for birth, christening, marriage, and death records in the town?

The anagrafe office at the town hall will have birth, marriage and death records. They are open from 8am to 12 noon to the public. There is only one clerk so depends how busy they are how much help you will get. The church is right next door but the records are all at the priests house down the street. He will have baptism, marriage and death records. The books have no indexes so you will need dates.
