Hi
When using Antenati to find documents for someone born in Marigliano, where do I look? It's not a town listed when searching Archivio di Stato di Napoli.

Provincial boundaries change over time, so at least for the years 1823-1865, they are held by the Caserta archive.

Where do I look for documents after 1865. My great grandmother was born about 1888.TerraLavoro wrote: ↑19 Jan 2020, 15:21 Provincial boundaries change over time, so at least for the years 1823-1865, they are held by the Caserta archive.

You will have to write to the comune and request the record from the office of "stato civile". Here is a link to the contact information:
http://www.comunemarigliano.it/UfficieS ... ozione.htm
You could try a request by fax, the PEC email address requires you to have a PEC account as well. Make sure to give as much information as possible, (parents' names, date of birth etc.) and include a copy of a valid ID (driver's license works).
Others on the board can help with the text of the request if you do not know how to write in Italian.
