Online Records Siracusa, Sicily

Started searching records for a friend and see that Antenati site lists the records for Siracusa as 'scheduled', in other words none available yet, bummer. Are there any other online sources to search state or church records for that province?

The only church records that I know of online are for the town of Sortino in Siracusa Province, available at familysearch.org. They are great records. Just search the town of Sortino in the online catalog.

Thank you...i found the family search catalog, but as usual the most important ones are only available to view at a local family center (which i've spent countless hours at over the years) however due to covid it's closed, at this point they should at least make the records available temporarily!

My understanding is the contractor won't permit online access at this time.

I chatted with Family Search, they are unable to give external access during Covid due to contractural reasons.
