Hi,
I'm planning a trip to Italy in October, and one of the places I've wanted to visit for a very long time is Ravenna. I won't be making it to see much else in the north, so I was considering taking a flight from Rome to either Rimini or to Bologna.
I thought I would stay a few days in a hotel in those places and take a train into Ravenna for day trips.
My question is ... does this seem like a good idea? The travel time seems good on a train between the locations and there are many more places to stay in Rimini and Bologna than I'm finding for Ravenna.
What do you think? Any advice?
Thanks
- Maria
Easy access to Ravenna?
Re: Easy access to Ravenna?
No, sorry I can't help....but for the kind of detailed help and guidance you need you could try a specialised site called Slow Travel Talk. They have a super forum that deals with almost any question that anyone could ask about travel etc, in Italy.....(and almost anywhere in Europe).
Find them here:
