Silly question maybe - and forgive if I spell any words incorrectly but am going on my husband's recollection of his mother's Itranian dialect:
" Nin-i-o, nin-i-o -- que patienza, que che' vo"
My mother in law would rock our babies and so would Val singing this tune - and years later whan she was close to her end, my mother-in-law would call one of her daughters each night to sing to her before bedtime! Anyway, now we just remember those few words - does anyone else happen to recognize this and know any of the lyrics? And as long as I started this - how about other lullabies? Made me feel sentimental to think about it and we have started humming it to our grandbabies now but would love rest of the lyrics!

Neither one is exactly what he remembers his mama singing - but what fantastic sites! I loved them - and of course, saved to the favorites list! I am just going to have to pick one and practice for our babies now! Hehe!
