Wow Tessa..........I have been looking for weeks and all I found was the 1930 census.....The last 2 records you found is of the family.....I was just sent a copy of the the Registration of Alien and it list the date of arrival as Jan 2, 1911 so the 2 ships manifest you found is not Isvfan..........I do know that Istvan & Etel came to the US together and Istvan never became a citizen.....Thank You so much for finding what you did....This is all greatly appreciated......Sal4

Hi Sal4 !

I know you stated that Istvan and Ethel came together... :-)
Not sure on what you are basing that... but found this manifest for
Etelka Olah, 17, arriving NY in 1910 with what appears to be her parents and 2 younger sisters. From Nagyvarat (sp?) Hungary, and going to C. Bila (could be the father's sister) in Trenton, NJ.

Hi Tessa,

I do know that her parents never came to America, they stayed in Hungary Ethel/Etel and Istvan were married 3 yrs before they came here together, this info is based on the Alien Reg. papers found recently........Thanks though for still looking........I just wonder based on the Alien Reg. that the ship line was Gunard line from Garmany, which I think they meant Germany, could they came in from Germany and not Hungary.....I can't find any info on that vessel shipping line either.........Sal4

Yes, I do love a challenge and I think this on will be.............I don't have much to work on other than the Alien Reg papers and the death record that you sent me, I was given a copy of the obituary notice from the paper, but unfortunately it is written in Hungarian, and I have no idea how to get that translated....Sal4

Could also have been the Cunard Line...?

Both of these are NOT reliable sources, especially the death record.
They can be filled with errors.

Keep an open mind, and keep looking! :-)
Don't discount any finds. Keep them, you never know if/when they may prove to be "connected" to your ancestors...
