The National Archives is having an online Virtual Genealogy Fair Sept. 3-4. First session is Intro to Military Records. It will be recorded and there are handouts with links.

Thanks, Biff. I forwarded the link to the president of my village's genealogy club who, in turn, forwarded it to all club members. Hopefully they now know what the NARA is, since I did a presentation to the club over a year ago. Before that, these so-called seasoned genealogists had never heard of it. I just couldn't believe that anyone could call him/her self a genealogist and not know what the NARA is.
