Hi everyone

From time to time, we have people posting photos here at ItalianGenealogy.com, who are needing advice about a photo. They are asking questions like: What uniform is this? What town is this? What vintage might the photo be? Does anyone recognise anyone in this photo? What is the inscription on the back saying? .... and so on.

I thought it would be really cool to have a separate forum just for this purpose. Maybe, if there are others who feel the same way, and if it wasn't a problem, then this just might happen. Any thoughts for, or against, please comment.

I completely agree! It would amount to a much more accessible and successful tool! I am sure the powers-at-be would consider it. Let's try to get this going for that! It really is a great idea! It will get low traffic for a while, I am certain, but will serve as a useful channel for researchers.
