Post by rfornal »

Other Forums ...

Does anyone know of active forums (like this one) for Ireland or Poland?

I'm not leaving ... just looking to expand my research ...

Thanks

Hi,

Tried that link also, it comes up with the various countries, but when you hit a specific link it states "done but with errors on page".

Are we doing something wrong???

Ally

Bob, you'd probably make a great contributer here (as well) once the website is complete....

Isn't this type of forum board wonderful though?? I've tried some others... but this one's truly the best...

Played around with some of the toolbox features over the weekend (as you saw yourself) and had a great time with it... hope to check out more later.

Congratulations Edmondo!!

I can create this type of a forum from my Service Provider as well.

I do like the idea of being an Administrator for a sub-domain, but I don't think that I can handle 2 (Ireland and Poland) ...

By the way, haven't found anything I like yet ... let you know my thoughts later tomorrow.

Edmondo -

I've been up most of the night and day thinking about the Polish and Irish subdomains that you offered ... I'm assuming that you're thinking something like polishgenealogy.tardio.com and irishgenealogy.tardio.com ...

I WAS thinking of only doing the Irish version, but I got an e-mail this morning from a Magdalena and Marek Fornal from Poland and I now believe that I'd like to get both started if that's OK with you ...

I might have to locate some assistance along the way, but we'll figure that you as we go ...

Thanks

I can see this is going to be a very interesting fall/winter for all of us.

Keep us in the loop as to how things pan out...we're all very interested.
